Twenty years of Italian, done right.

One of Brisbane's oldest and most charismatic suburbs, Paddington is the charming place to be for boutique shopping and a great food experience.

We opened Grappino on Given Terrace in 2004, serving authentic Italian dishes made with the finest seasonal local produce, and building a genuine bond with locals along the way. Plenty of our guests have been coming back for years.

Not a red-checked-tablecloth trattoria, and not a sterile modern Italian: the décor is modern-retro, the staff are friendly and the food is outstanding. Warmly modern, genuinely Italian and unapologetically itself.

We came here last night for our friends birthday and we couldn’t fault absolutely anything, the service, the decor, THE FOOD!! There were 8 of us, and not one of us had a bad meal, we honestly were blown away. This food is top notch, and Sam was absolutely brilliant too - he made our night!

Do I need to book a table?

What are your opening hours?

Lunch is served Thursday and Friday from 12pm to 3pm, and dinner Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 9pm. We're closed on Sundays.

How many guests can I book for online?

OpenTable takes online bookings for up to 14 guests, up to 90 days ahead. For 15 or more, please call us or send a function enquiry.

Where are you, and is there parking?

You'll find us at 226 Given Terrace, Paddington QLD 4064, in the heart of Paddington's Given Terrace strip. Street parking is available nearby.

Can we sit outside?

Yes. When you book through OpenTable you can choose standard or outdoor seating, subject to availability.

What if I'm running late?

We hold tables for a 15-minute grace period. If you're running later than that, please call us on (07) 3367 0033.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Our menu includes vegetarian dishes, and gluten-free pasta can be arranged on request. Please mention any dietary requirements in your booking so the kitchen can plan ahead.

Do you host private functions and large groups?

Yes. We host private functions for up to 60 guests, with a $100 per person set menu of two entrées, three mains and two desserts that we're happy to tailor to your tastes. Drinks are not included. See our functions page to enquire.

What is the Tuscan Feast?

An authentic Tuscan Feast of gourmet platters shared around the table, for groups of ten or more: Grappino's antipasti, ciabatta, a variety of house-made pasta, roasted sirloin, house-made Italian desserts and a selection of Italian cheeses.
